Their goal was to redefine black pigment by combining the highest safety standards with a smooth, silky consistency and the deep darkness artists rely on. First developed in 2014, the original Nocturnal formula was designed to give tattoo artists a perfectly balanced ink they could trust.
Today, Bishop proudly continues that legacy with Nocturnal by Bishop - available in Super Black, Lining and Shading, a set of Grey Washes, and Shine White. Further developed in collaboration with the expert formulation team at Eternal Ink, this next generation formula delivers an even smoother flow, richer saturation, and exceptional healed results.

The updated black and grey formulations feature a refined, less viscous consistency that allows for effortless application, improved control, and reliable performance in every tattoo.

In honor of Jack Rudy’s lasting influence, a portion of proceeds supports his estate and the Tattoo Heritage Project, helping preserve the history and culture of tattooing for generations to come.
